The Bishop of Guildford is delighted to announce that Rev Canon Anthony Rustell has been appointed as Interim Priest in Charge at Dorking (St Martin) with Ranmore, subject to DBS and medical clearance. He is currently Residentiary Canon, Director of Mission and Ministry and
Warden of Readers in Portsmouth Diocese and we are hoping that Anthony and his family will move in December, but details are yet to be confirmed.
Anthony says: “I am delighted to be announced today as the new priest for Dorking and Ranmore, and to be joining the churches later in the year. I grew up in Guildford before moving to Oxford for study, ordination, curacy and my first incumbency. I served in Llandaff diocese in Wales as a diocesan officer and parish priest before moving to my current diocesan and cathedral roles in Portsmouth diocese. I am married to Georgianna, and we have three children, Katharine, Elizabeth and John. We are all looking forward to coming to Dorking and to the Diocese of Guildford."
Please pray for Anthony and his family as they prepare to move.
