St Mary's is a beautiful Lutyens church situated on Pixham Lane at the end of Leslie Road, near the railway bridge. It is a daughter church of St Martin's Dorking, and was established in 1903 by local benefactor Mary Mayo. It has a committed and regular congregation who are very welcoming to visitors and enquirers.
St Barnabas' Church at Ranmore is in the St Martin's Benefice. It has been known as "The Church on the North Downs Way" for many years and more recently was referred to as "My other Cathedral in the Woods" by the former Bishop Christopher of Guildford. Many visitors also relish the fact that most services are still taken from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.
