New to Church?

Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church.  Below are a few questions to help you get a better understanding of our worship and community.

When and where does the church meet?

All our services take place in St Martin's Shared Church. We have a daily act of worship in the Church either at 8 or 11am. Every Sunday there is a Book of Common Prayer Communion at 8am followed by a shared Communion service at 10am. Details of our services can be found in the calendar.

What should I expect when I attend the church?

You will recieve a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcomers who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. Services last approximately an hour and you will be guided through each service by a service sheet.

Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits are served in the Christian Centre after the 10am service where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.

Is there a dress code?

Please just be yourself and wear whatever is comfortable.

Do I have to join in?

You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.

I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them?

Please talk to anyone in our congregation, particularly our Welcomers who will be wearing badges in Church. If you want to contact anyone on the staff team or the church office, please feel free to contact us via the button below.
